22.03.2006 Dear INFORSE-Europe members Please find a news on costs of windpower that is somewhat lower
than nuclear. The information about windpower costs were circulated
in Danish news, based on a preliminary study.
It is partly a comment to the EU communication on renewable
electricity, December 2005, that states that Danish renewable energy
increases elecricity prices with 15%. The reality is little more than 5%
or less, without including external costs.
The draft INFORSE-Europe positions promised on efficiency and
biofuels will come on monday.
